Iowa ARNP Fluoro Training

Starting January 12, 2015, Iowa requires all Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNP) who supervise the use of fluoroscopic equipment to have the appropriate education and continued annual radiological safety updates.  

Acapedia's Basic Training Program on the Safe Use of Fluorsocopy meets both the initial training and annual training requirements for ARNPs in Iowa.  The Basic Training Program provides:

• Radiation safety including, but not limited to, time, dose, distance, shielding and the effects of radiation as required by the State of Iowa
• A certificate of completion sufficient for documentation as required by the State of Iowa
• Satisfies both the initial and annual training requirements for ARNPs
• Continuing education credit for physician practitioners
