Per Chapter 18 of Title 7 of the Alaska Administrative Code (7 AAC 18), Alaska requires fluoroscopy-specific training for all operators of medical fluoroscopes. Completion of our Advanced Training Program in the Safe Use of Fluorscopy as well as Establishing a Patient Safety Program in Fluoroscopy satisfies the requirement of Alaska 7 AAC 18. These 2 courses provide physicians with up to 10 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 CME Credit™ in radiation safety for the clinical use of fluoroscopy.
Recommended order of completion to satisfy Alaska Administrative Code (7 AAC 18):
- Complete the Advanced Training Program on the Safe Use of Fluoroscopy (8 CME)
- Complete Establishing a Patient Safety Program in Fluoroscopy (2 CME)
